When it is lifted

We post it here, send an email notice and leave a door hanger at every home in Zone 4.

Then run each cold tap for five minutes, throw out ice made during the advisory and replace any refrigerator water filter.

Questions about the advisory

Is anyone sick?

No illness has been reported. The advisory is a precaution while we test.

Do I need to boil water for my coffee maker?

Yes, unless it brings water to a full boil. Most coffee makers do not.

I live in Zone 3. Does this apply to me?

No. Homes on Maple Street may be without water during the repair, but the water that reaches them has kept its pressure.
